Two original Seascape Acrylic Paintings by QW. The two seascape paintings have different focuses.

The portrait-oriented painting (16 X 20") has its focus on the swirling clouds with a certain amount of grey. It symbols the storms that may become. However, the sea stays calm and peaceful. The conflicts between the sky and the sea are presented in this painting. This painting matches perfectly with an ancient Chinese saying: “You should be mindful of the potential problems while we are still in the peaceful time. Caution leads to preparation and preparation averts calamities.”（居安思危，思则有备，有备无患。《左传》） This painting is a beautiful art with a meaningful statement.

The landscape-oriented painting (11 X 14") has its focus on the sea itself. No clouds at all. Simple Calmness throughout the painting. I used many layers of acrylic painting to build up the depth in the sea and used a palette knife to give lots of texture to the waves. This would sit perfectly on a shelf or desk or hung on the wall in a little space. I believe it would bring beauty to any space.
